Educational reform needs to adapt to the new demands of contemporary social development. In an era of information explosion and rapid advancements in artificial intelligence (AI), equipping students with the competencies to navigate future societal developments has become increasingly vital for school curricula. The Second International Symposium on Curriculum Reform, themed “Knowledge, Curriculum, and Classroom in the Era of AI”, aims to explore the challenges faced by nations, schools, teachers, and students as well as potential solutions in this rapidly evolving landscape.

I. Theme of the Symposium
This symposium will provide an international dialogue platform. Through academic discussions on cutting-edge topics, experts from the U.K., the U.S., the Netherlands, China, et al. will share their perspectives on the future direction of curriculum reform and development, and explore the theoretical reconstruction and practical transformation to curriculum and teaching in the era of AI.

The symposium will invite the experts in the field of Curriculum and Teaching from the U.K., the U.S., the Netherlands, and China, and they will share their recent research findings and practical experiences related to the theme of this Symposium. Interested scholars and students are warmly welcome to attend this symposium.
VI. Call for Papers
Interested contributors are invited to submit their papers (Word format) to the symposium’s submission email: nenu2025@163.com by August 10, 2025. For the paper title, please name it in the format of “Name + Affiliation + Paper Title”. Submitted papers should be no fewer than 8,000 words and must include a Chinese and English abstract, keywords, main text, and references. The format should follow the submission guidelines of Curriculum, Teaching Material and Method. Previously published journal articles are also acceptable.
